The Whitney Museum presents, from October 28th, the show Dreamlands: Immersive Cinema and Art, 1905-2016, a group exhibition that focuses on the creation and recreation of the cinematic language through art.

The exhibition, which will occupy the fifth floor of the museum, presents an overview of more than a hundred years of art work of American and European artists, whose art production explore the theme of cinematic language through art. Among installations, drawings, immersive spaces, sculptures, performances, paintings is the work Line Describing to Cone by Anthony McCall, a film in 16 mm from 1973.
