For the 40th-anniversary ArcoMadrid 2021 special edition, Luciana Brito Galeria presents the videos "Campo" (1977) by Regina Silveira and "Photokinetic" (2020) by Héctor Zamora.Regina Silveira, "Campo", 1977"Campo" shows a simple one-take edit-free action, of a finger gesture of going along the limits, imaginary - meridian and diagonally -implicated lines of the field inside the video frame. "Campo" is the first video created by the artist, together with the initial developments of videoart in collaboration with MAC USP between the years of 1976 and 1978.Héctor Zamora, "Photokinetic", 2020A video produced during the exhibition Lattice Detour, by Héctor Zamora, in the Roof Garden, at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, USA. It involves a game concerning the effect of movements, a playful dance, of the bodies of the participants and their effects brought about by the empty spaces between the bricks, creating fragmented shadows. The movement is occasioned by the sunlight at sunset; an unexpected effect that happens at the end of the day.

A wide and open gaze on the relationship between concepts and their materialization into a piece of art. This is one possible broad summarisation of the booth that Luciana Brito Galeria proposes to feature at the 2015 edition of ARCOmadrid – from contemporary experimental works to historical avant-garde, including also the questions around the human body. This varied panorama draws unsuspected connections that set light on new possibilities to understand the poetics and propositions brought by Caio Reisewitz, Geraldo de Barros, Héctor Zamora, Liliana Porter, Marina Abramovic, Regina Silveira, Rochelle Costi and Tiago Tebet, along with Fernando Zarif's (Brazil, 1960 - 2010) works first public exhibition held by Luciana Brito. Ons of the propositions implied here is to renew and expand the way the public can comprehend works that, thus far, have been read through very specific biases.
