Héctor Zamora invited to an artistic residency in Lisbon the 2017 Ibero-American Capital of Culture

Lisbon was chosen by the Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities to be the Cultural Capital of this year. For the occasion is planned some celebrations that will feature more than hundreds of activities, with the participations of artists, producers and teachers.

 

Invited by the Curator João Mourão, the Mexican artist Héctor Zamora (Cidade do México, 1974) who is now based in Lisbon is one of the artists choosen, for the whole year, to an artistic residency located in Complexo dos Coruchéus in Lisbon where a project for the city should be developed. The artist will also present, in March, a show, which is part of the program and that will dialogue with the reality of the city.
