Marina Abramović's (Belgrade, 1946) next solo exhibition opens on June 17th at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, a municipality in Denmark.

Entitled The Cleaner, the show ranks as one of the biggest retrospective exhibitions of the Yugoslavian artist in Europe, encompassing films, photographies, paintings, installations as well as a rich archival material. The artworks exhibited covers the beginning of the artist's mature period from the 1970's up to the actual phase.

The exhibition has been developed in a dialogue with the artist and is organized by Moderna Museet, Stockholm, in collaboration with Louisiana. Marina Abramović will give a lecture on June 18th in the museum as part of the exhibition's program.
