Héctor Zamora (Mexico City, 1974) participates in the group show Condemned to be Modern, inaugurating on September 10th in the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery LAMAG (Los Angeles, USA) and part of Pacific Standard Time LA/LA 2017 cultural programme.
The exhibition gathers artworks from 21 contemporary artists that, in different ways, take a critical stand towards the History of Modernist architecture in Latin America. In their production from the last recent decades, those artists explore the effects, contradictions and influences of modernism in Latin-American countries. Héctor Zamora shows a work from the Hypars series, started in 2014.
Condemned to be Modern runs until January 27th, 2018. For more information, visit gallery’s website
