Regina Silveira (Porto Alegre, 1939) participates in the exhibition Video Art in Latin America, which opens on September 17th at LAXART in Los Angeles, United States, and is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA / LA 2017 program.

Curated by Glenn Phillips and Elena Shtromberge, the show surveys groundbreaking achievements and important tendencies in Latin American video art from the 1960s until today, showcasing more than 60 video art pieces, many of them never exhibited to American audiences before. Among the works selected by the curators, is the video Artificio, 1977, by Regina Silveira.
