Tiago Tebet (São Paulo, 1986) presents a series of new works at the group show Fábula, frisson, melancolia, which inaugurates on September 28th at the Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo.

The show curated by Paulo Miyada and Carolina De Angelis, intends to explore, through the artists' different approaches, art's capacity to elaborate tales and new imaginaries that, nevertheless, takes reality as its departing point.

Tiago Tebet presents 15 new paintings that confirms his interest in daily solutions for outdoor architectural finishing surfaces and the techniques behind it. The color white is employed to clearly demonstrate the conceptual framing of the artist. Stones, plaster, sand and glue are materials that, with Tebet's painterly procedures, reveal subtile gradients of vibrant white and grey.
